We are sorry to announce that our 2021 event has been cancelled

We are really sorry to announce, for a second year, that due to coronavirus we are unable to stage the Apex Challenge in October 2021 as previously planned. After the disappointment of being unable to hold an event in 2020, the whole Apex team was really hoping to return this autumn. Sadly, that just isn’t possible.

Across the whole of Scouting, for the rest of 2021, no events can take place which involve overnight stays for the quantity of people who usually attend the Apex Challenge. The reason for that is to safeguard public health, something all of us at Apex HQ support. It is also still unclear when the government will relax the rules on social distancing. Both of those factors mean that if we were to stage an Apex Challenge it could not be the event which you and we all enjoy so much.

Staying safe and staying healthy remains the most important thing any of us can do.

The Apex Challenge will return. We are still busy making plans for when that can happen. You can see that the website has had a makeover which we are still finishing off behind the scenes.

We have now confirmed our event dates for next year … the long awaited return to Bramham Park is now due to take place from the 7-9 October 2022 and it will be a really special year for all of us. It will mark exactly 20 years since our first event and we are determined to make it an event to remember.

Make sure those dates are in your calendar and more than ever before we are really looking forward to seeing you all again as soon as it’s possible.
