Pushing the boundaries of adventure

Are you ready for our toughest ever Apex Challenge event? This year we are heading to a secure military training facility which will give the competition a whole new feel. With brand new challenges and various twists along the way, this will be an incredible weekend of adventure which will test you to the limit.

Your team will face a range of new and demanding activities while navigating through a spectacular area of moorland, marshland, ravines and forests which is not normally open to the public.

Generations of the best UK soldiers have honed their skills on Strensall Common. Now it’s time for you and your mates to join them at this intensive adventure weekend. It’s all happening on the 4th-6th October 2013 and teams of Explorers and those in Scout Network will be joining us from across the UK.

During the competition you can expect to face a series of activities, while camping as part of the Apex Challenge community in this unique location. The challenges could include climbing, mountain biking, and completing tough assault courses as you race against hundreds of others to collect Apex points and try to win the big prizes.

Full event details are now on our website, as well as information about the brand new entry system, which should make entering our events even easier and considerably less stressful than before.

So join us in October for this demanding adventure challenge weekend. We can’t wait to see you there!
