Dozens enter next event in first week

There has been a record number of teams entering the next Apex Challenge event after entries opened only a week ago. More than a third of the places in the Overnight Challenge have already been claimed.

It’s one of the biggest events in the Scouting calendar and this year the competition takes place in a newly enlarged playing area at Sherwood Pines Forest Park on the weekend of 10th – 11th April 2010.

The extra space has made it possible to increase the event capacity, so with 75 teams now able to take part we’re expecting up to 300 Explorers and Network members from right across the UK at what is widely regarded as one of the top events of its kind in the country.

Expect more than a dozen exciting and challenging activities including the event’s biggest ever inflatable assault course and an exhilarating high level ropes course alongside many other bizarre and extreme challenges.

Entry is in teams of four and works out at just £12.50 per person for a team of four, including all food, camp fees and activities making the event incredible value for money.

Check out the event details for more information, then gather together your team of four and enter online before the event fills up. You won’t be disappointed!
