Apex on the Plinth!

Apex T-shirts are worn all over the place and now one has been shown off to a worldwide audience on the famous Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square.

Michael Collins, an Assistant Beaver Scout Leader from Hampshire, wore an exclusive 2009 Apex T-shirt while raising awareness about how the proposed Rain Tax may affect Scout groups.

During his hour on Antony Gormley’s living art project, Michael pitched a tent, displayed posters and told the crowd about his pride in Scouting. He spoke of how new arrangments to collect water charges could cause serious problems for Scout groups.

Then for the final twenty minutes, he swapped his Scout uniform for the distinctive lime green Apex top, telling the crowd about the competition.

Our thanks to Michael for spreading the Apex word to the world!
