Vote starts for this year’s T-shirt design

For the first time ever we’re handing over the final say on this year’s exclusive Apex Challenge T-shirt design to you! Our designers have been working on the design for the last few weeks, but the decision on the colour will be decided by a public vote.

The front of the 2013 design is a large ‘Apex Competitor’ rubber stamp motif. On the back of the T-shirt is a cargo packing slip with a difference. It details some of the ‘handling instructions’ for a typical team member at the Apex Challenge. There’s advice to ‘handle with care’, ‘keep upright’ and ‘may contain nuts’.

There are also a few surprise ingredients in the list of what makes up a typical person who takes part in our competitions. It’s already looking like being one of our most popular T-shirts ever and we’re sure there won’t be many teams not wearing them.

The T-shirts will either be orange or pink. You can vote for your favourite by visiting our Facebook page and clicking on your choice in the poll there. Make sure you vote by 8pm on Thursday 4 April. There’s just 48 hours to decide! The one with the most votes will be chosen so keep checking to see which one is winning. We’ll announce the winner on the website on Thursday evening and give you a close up view of the winning design.

And make sure you pre-order your T-shirts. They’re just £7 each. If you didn’t order one when you registered your team there’s still time. Click your team on the team list page and use your password to edit your details and order your T-shirts.
