New activities for 2005 Daytime Challenge

There’ll be a huge selection of adventure activities at the next Apex Challenge event taking place on September 10th.

Rock climbing, abseiling, watersports, assault courses, tower climbing and shooting games will all be included as well as many more surprises along the way.

This national multi-activity competition will be taking place in a brand new area it has not visited before; the gritstone edges of the Peak District between Hathersage and Baslow. As always the exact location will be kept a closely-guarded secret until closer to the event date.

Our last event in May reached capacity before the event and unfortunately some teams had to be turned away so make sure you enter your teams straight away so you don’t miss out.

We expect up to 250 Explorer Scouts and members of the Scout Network to be taking part. There are only places for 60 teams to take part and we have changed the entry procedure slightly from previous years to make it fairer to everyone wanting to take part. Full details available on the entry form.

As always, there’ll be a great array of prizes on offer to the winners. At just £20 per team, this is still the best value outdoor competition in the UK.

Check out the event briefing page – and then enter your teams online.
