2014 events postponed

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this year’s Apex Challenge events are being postponed until 2015. We’re really sorry for any disappointment this may cause. It hasn’t been an easy decision to make.

As you know we had been planning an event at Bramham Park in April, and another in the Peak District in October. However due to a number of factors, we have decided to delay both of these events for a year.

The main reason for this is that key members of the organising team now have new work commitments, including the Event Director who will be working overseas in Australia from March until December. We had a lengthy meeting looking at other ways to manage the events and examined all options but due to several factors, including other members of the team also having increasing commitments, it was decided that the best way forward was to delay the events for 12 months.

After 11 years of running Apex events clearly this is a big decision, but we hope this year off will also enable everyone involved to take a break from the day-to-day tasks needed to stage our events and give us the time to work on bigger new ideas for our future competitions. We are already looking forward to getting back together in 2015, refreshed and ready to put on even better events.

We’re obviously really sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience the postponement of these events may cause, and it isn’t a decision we have taken lightly. We know how much people look forward to coming to the Apex Challenge, and we hope you’ll be able to fill 2014 with many more great adventures.

We have a list of other great adventure events such as the Sun Run and Theme Park Camp which you may want to try.

We wish you all the best for an action packed year, and really can’t wait to see you again in 2015!
