The Apex Extreme is a tough and challenging event, spread across an entire weekend. It couples together all the familiar bits from our Apex Overnight and Daytime Challenges but adds in some more survival elements and brand new white-knuckle activities.
It will be physically and mentally demanding but also a great experience. You’re likely to be spending your weekend abseiling, canoeing, mountain biking, and completing challenging assault courses, while racing against the clock to gain those crucial Apex points. With more adventure challenges than ever before, this is certainly one you won’t want to miss.
For this event in the Centenary year we’ve decided to take the competition to our most Northerly locaction yet – the world-famous Ilkley Moor.
It’s open to all Explorer Scouts and Scout Network members from across the UK. Already we’ve got teams planning to join us from as far away as Devon and Scotland! Make sure you’re part of it.
There’s space for 60 teams to take part and by the interest we’ve already had, we’re sure those spaces will be quickly snapped up!
