One of Britain’s best known outdoor names has teamed up with the Apex Challenge to become the event’s biggest ever sponsor.
Karrimor has decided to support the event which means all those in the top three teams in both the Explorer and Network competitions will be heading home with a top quality rucksack as well as a range of other prizes.
The deal came about after it emerged Karrimor’s Brand Manager had been a Scout and had heard great reports about the Apex Challenge.
The company has played a pivotal role in some of the great British mountaineering expeditions of the past few decades, as well becoming one of the most trusted outdoor brands in the UK. Karrimor’s donation of 24 top quality rucksacks makes them the event’s biggest ever sponsor.
Event Organiser Matt Richards says “It’s always rewarding when firms decide to support us by providing prizes for the competiton, but it’s particularly great to have a company like Karrimor involved. It means that we’ll be giving away the biggest and best range of prizes we’ve ever had at this September’s event.”
