Chiltern ChallengeChiltern Challenge

Chiltern Challenge is an event which is run for Explorers and Scouts from anywhere across England. It is a two-day event beginning on a Saturday afternoon, running through to Sunday afternoon including a night hike, challenge bases, site pitching skills, mental challenges and meal preparation.

Kinder WalkKinder Walk

The Kinder Walk is organised on behalf of the Derbyshire Scout Council and is open to all members of the Scout and Guide Associations, subject to the various trophy categories. The Walk is aimed at the older Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Guides and members of Scout Network. The group event is a challenge of map reading and stamina.

Malvern ChallengeMalvern Challenge

A patrol activity aimed at testing the whole patrol's aptitude, participation and Scouting/Guiding skills as well as their ability to work together as a team.

Four Inns WalkThe Four Inns Walk

The Four Inns Walk is a tough competitive walk in the Peak District, approximately 72km (45 miles) long, over some of the roughest moorland in Britain. The Walk takes its name from the four inns along its route - The Isle Of Skye (site of), Snake Pass Inn, Nags Head and Cat & Fiddle.

Southern ChallengeSouthern Challenge

The event is a test of good orienteering skills as well as physical ability and team-work and unlike other well known hikes, local knowledge will not be of help as the route will not be disclosed until the day of the event.

Sun RunSun Run

As dusk falls, the air comes alive with the sound of Bagpipes escorting the Sun Runners to the start. The aim of the event is to watch the sun set from the Malvern's, then race the 23 miles to the Cotswold's Campsite to see the sun rise.
